So you’ve downloaded a mp3 using the browser, but it’s magically converted to mpga for you (thanks! turns out an mpga is just an mp3).  MPGAs don’t work in RingDroid though so…

  • Go to Market and download Astro File Manager.
  • Navigate to the file, probably in /sdcard/download
  • Hold down on the file -> Rename
  • Now just rename it to .mp3 instead of mpga

And hopefully you’re good to go :)
